Whether you are hosting a mysterious Halloween party or simply getting ready to welcome adorable trick-or-treaters, let’s be honest, the most fun comes from decorating your home! To help out this season, we created a spooky Halloween Stencil Collection and a hair-raising Halloween Wall Decals Collection.
Here are a few crafty ways our blogger friends used these stencils and wall decals to create the magic of Halloween! Let’s take a look.
Creepy Wall Art and Table Runner
Kimbo of A Girl and a Glue Gun used the same Donatelle Damask Halloween Stencil on fabric for two different projects. For the first project, she stenciled black paint on a gray fabric piece to create a spine-chilling wall art. She framed it in a contrasting white frame and completed the look with a spider and ‘Happy Halloween’ vinyl decal.
In another project, Kimbo stenciled a table runner using the same Donatelle Damask pattern in black and white. She attached a polka dot fabric on either end and stitched a thin orange border on all four sides of the runner. Note: You can use our Polka Party Furniture Stencil to create a similar look. She finished by hand painting a cute spider over an orange fabric patch on one end of the table runner. Adorable! Learn more about these projects on her Halloween stencil décor blog post.
Kimbo said, “… I really feel like you can change the look of the stencil with your color choices!”
Scary Porch Decor
Unlike previous years, Kelly of House of Gold wanted to be ready for this trick-or-treat season! She bought two black table cloths from the dollar store, laid them out in her driveway and stenciled our Parlor Lace Halloween Stencil on them using white primer. She hung these as curtains and layered them with some cheesecloth to give her porch a seriously scary look! With a few fake crows, a skeleton garland and two squeaky rats, her porch was all set to welcome the cute zombies on Halloween night! Check out all the details about this project on her blog post Skeery Porch Decorations.
When Britni of Play Party Pin came across the wickedly modern designs of our Halloween Bunting Removable Wall Decals Pattern Pack, she knew it would be perfect for her upcoming Halloween Party. It only took her a few minutes to arrange these wall decals above her Halloween snack table. What she loves most about our removable wall decals is, in spite of re-applying several times, our wall decals did not lose their stickiness and she got a layout she absolutely loves!
“I quickly unrolled it and was excited to see that the colors and patterns were just as bright and bold as the picture on the website,” said Britni.
