Doors come in all shapes and sizes, but one thing is a definite – they don’t need to be boring! You can easily create a welcoming and inviting entrance by adding pattern and color with Royal Design Studio stencils. Liven up a Dutch door by adding a bright color and then stenciling the panels with a color that pops, such as the Fleur Classic Panel Stencil here in black against a vibrant red.

Love bright colors, but not sure how to stencil with them? You can either stencil with the color you love or use it as a base coat and stencil with another lighter color over it. Both of these methods were done in the above projects using the color orange. A stencil lets you easily control the colors! Artist Tamra Cook used a Modello® Designs Foliate Allover vinyl stencil (FolAll154) to make her refrigerator a stunning conversation piece! You could also use the mylar Large Flourish Allover Stencil instead. Bravo!
Black and White and Beautiful Allover! The door was first painted in black and the inset panels in white. Using the same black as for the door, the Small Scrollallover Furniture Stencil added the finishing touch. Can we ring that bell for a job well done?
