How to use Moroccan Stencils for Stylishly Stenciled File Folders

Stylish Stenciled File Folders | Royal Design Studio Stencils

How to stencil pretty patterned file folders with Moroccan stencils and Royal Stencil Cremes to make organizing your paperwork a little more pleasurable! Our metallic Stencil Cremes help put the shine on this stenciling project that is fast, fun, and oh so fabulous.

For our stencil project, we chose to use our Metallic Royal Stencil Cremes in Antique Gold and Smoked Oyster. We love the way that these cover and shine, but you can substitute acrylic craft paint or even Chalk Paint for a matte look.

Smaller furniture-sized stencils work best for file folders and we have a large selection of smaller stencils in our Moroccan Stencil collection. For our folders, we chose Small Endless Moorish Circles, Moroccan Arches Furniture Stencil, Small Moroccan Inlay, Tumbling Squares, Zelij Diamonds, Eight Pointed Stars, Hexagons Border and our new Medium Peacock Feather wall stencil.

Have fun playing with your patterns on the file folders. For example, you can stencil just on the fronts, wrap the pattern from front to back, or just stencil a portion of an allover pattern to add just a touch! Hint: This is a GREAT project for kids too!
