Well, it is the weekend and it is Pinterest time! Here’s sharing with you top Pinterest picks of the week that are inspired by Indian design.
The above image caught our eye owing to its beautiful blue monochromatic theme for the walls and flooring. The vintage lithographs complementing the antique chair and it’s tapestry along with the side stool make for a tastefully decorated corner that seems to be in a well lit open to sky courtyard.
India is probably most known for its varied selection of fabrics. Each region of India probably has it’s own unique style of embroidery or craft. These fabric crafts are stunning works of art by themselves especially since most of them are 100% handmade. The vintage Phulkari (embroidered tapestry from Punjab, India) was originally an embroidered wedding cloth that makes for fabulous wall decor. Design Sponge shared this along with a few other beautiful projects by interior stylist Paige Morris.
